VACCINATIONS
There are six serious infectious diseases that can affect your dog.
Canine Distemper, infectious canine hepatitis, canine parvovirus are all caused by a virus.
Leptospirosis (weils) is caused by bacteria. In addition Parainfluenza virus is an important cause of Kennel Cough.
These vaccines comprise of: D - Distemper
H - Hepatitis
P - Parvovirus
Pi - Parainfluenza
L - Leptospirosis
During the first few weeks after birth, a puppy is protected by antibodies from the mother's milk. As this protection declines, vaccination is essential to maintain immunity to disease. Contracting these diseases may cause damage that does not become apparent until later in your dog's life.
As with all vaccines some dogs may feel "off colour" for a day or two after vaccination.
Puppies should be vaccinated at 8/9 weeks, with a second vaccination at 12 weeks, thereafter yearly boosters.

FLEA TREATMENT
Frontline COMBO is effective against fleas, ticks and/or biting lice.
The main difference between frontline COMBO and just normal "frontline spot on" is that the combo helps to prevent contamination of the environment of treated animals with immature stages of fleas.
Frontline COMBO (spot on) should be used at a minimum treatment interval of 4 weeks.
Frontline SPRAY is also used against fleas, ticks and/or biting lice, it also helps to control Cheyletiella, Sarcoptes and Neotrombicula.
Frontline SPRAY should be reapplied every 12 weeks for fleas and every 4 weeks for ticks, the minimum treatment interval being 4 weeks.
